"A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step."
Laotse
My enthusiasm for technology started very early. My first steps on a long journey started with a Compaq Deskpro 386. There I was already busy with the first programming of small games and applications. Every free minute I was busy with error codes and new ideas.
I took my first steps into the SAP world during my high school graduation when there was the possibility to do a voluntary course at the Albstadt-Sigmaringen University in SAP. During this time I worked in a textile company in my spare time. Enthusiastic about the possibility to combine business and information in the field of SAP, it was soon clear that I wanted to study business informatics at the Albstadt-Sigmaringen University. During my studies I always focused on lectures and lab work with SAP emphasis.
I developed my passion for project management, among other things, during my volunteer work in an editorial department of a youth magazine. While other teenagers were doing pub tours, I began to take on responsibility at the age of 14. For 13 years, including 5 years as the main editorial manager, I had to develop content and meet deadlines every month. I enjoyed the work very much because I was able to work with many different people and lead an exciting project. I was then able to apply this enthusiasm and experience later in my professional life.
Finally, it should be mentioned that I have remained loyal to the Albstadt-Sigmaringen University and have been leading the lecture and lab work “Digital Economy and IT” since 2020. And how could it be otherwise, the focus here is also on SAP. More about this in my project history.
